For my big brothers 73rd birthday my niece asked if we could do a special scrapbook for him. I of course thought it was a great idea and went to work. Well, like most of my projects a few pages grew to 26 pages and it became a Birthday (March 31st and June 16th) Father's day gift. He did at least get the day before Father's day. I have to admit that I mailed it out on Wednesday and worked on it right up until the last minute.
This page is basically for my family so they can all see the book, but I welcome anyone who would like to have a look. We are scattered all over the country to Cheyenne and I are the only 2 others to get to see it up close and personal.

| Growing up N.B. always wanted to be a D.J., he worked at the local radio station in Ironton, Ohio, and then in Columbus, Miss. His was known as Mr. Sandman. |

| N.B. had many jobs over his lifetime, he was an orderly in Ashland Ky. King's Daughters hospital and also at the hospital in Aberdeen Ms., He was a postal Carrier and Retired from VIP Rubber and plastics. (Thank you Kathy for the Pictures) |

N.B. and his wife Judy have been involved in many Christian based volunteer programs in the Greater Los Angeles area. These include Lighthouse ministries, Celebrate recovery and Angel Tree (the whole family was involved). They also went to the Ukraine as missionaries for 2 weeks. |

| This is the final page, N.B., Judy & I had an awesome trip starting with our first visit with Liam. Pict #1 N. B., Judy, Crystal, Liam, Neal IV and Spring; Our first stop was the town of Crater Lake where we visited with Judy's Brother Doug Yaryan and his wife Glenda, Pic. #2 Doug, Judy & N.B., Pic.#3 Doug, me (Deb) & N.B.; it was Oct. and it was snowing, we went to breakfast at the small cafe where Glenda works, then off sightseeing to Crater Lake; Pic. #4 Crater Lake, because of the snow the fog hid the lake most of the time, but it did manage to peak out for a couple of shots. Then we were off to Yellowstone National Park. We stopped for lunch in a little town just outside of the park, Picture # 5 Grizzle Bear Statue in the center of town, Picture #6 the entrance to Yellowstone. Pict. #7 an American Bison just strolling down the center of our lane, he was in now hurry. Pict #8 N. B. walking the boardwalk at one of the stops along the way Our next stop Mt. Rushmore Pict #9, it was very cold and windy but the view was awesome. Our next stop Wisconsin to see Kath and Jerry Nelson, we drove though Amish country Pict. #10 Plow horses, we also stopped and got some delicious Wisconsin cheese. Our next stop was to see Jeannie and her family. Pict. #11 Benjamin, Helena, Grandma Judy & Grandpa Neal. Another great visit. Our final stop Denison Texas. N.B. and Judy's new home. On the way I ate something that made me really ill, I hugged the toilet for a couple days. When I felt a little better we went sightseeing around Denison, then off to the Air Port and home once again! |
